Elsa - Blizzard Within

This piece is a reimagining of one of my old artworks, portraying a central character from my ongoing project, Wry World. She is an 18-year-old orphan, a girl shaped by the cold grip of winter and the unforgiving chaos of World War II. Though fragile in appearance — white-haired and ghostlike against the snow — she carries a quiet strength that grows with every battle she endures.
Her world is fractured, her past stolen by war, yet something in her persists: resilience, hope, and a defiant will to survive. This artwork captures the moment between loss and transformation — the serene stillness of winter cloaking the fire she begins to forge within.
